
Yoo Soon-woong (born 1963 in Cheongju, Chungcheongbuk-do, South Korea) is a South Korean actor and theatre director. He graduated from Unho High School and from Hanshin University, where he majored in Christian Education.
He began performing extensively during his university years through madanggeuk, appearing on many stages and becoming known for his strong presence and expressive delivery. His solo play Yeomjaengi Yu-ssi (염쟁이 유씨), created with him as the central performer, premiered in 2004 and has since been staged in multiple long-running seasons.
Yu Sun-ung is affiliated with the theatre group Art Factory Dure (예술공장 두레) and is particularly known for playing elderly characters.
